OUR VISION

Promoting and serving the talented men and women of the Indiana National Guard.

OUR MISSION

The Mission of the National Guard Association of Indiana Foundation (NGAIF) is to impact the readiness and resilience of our Hoosier Guardsmen who serve and protect our state and nation by enhancing their quality of life. NGAIF executes its mission with resources donated by a diverse group of public and private organizations, community partners, and individuals supporting the goals of connecting our Soldiers, Airmen and Families with their communities and earned benefits, while reducing the burden and risk inherent in military service.

NGAIF FOUNDATION GOALS

NGAIF leverages partnerships with community partners and organizations, raising resources to create an endowment. Funds generated by the endowment will provide benefits not otherwise offered by state or federal programs that will lead to improvement in the Indiana National Guard recruitment of members and the retention of members and families.

NGAIF serves to connect Hoosier Veterans with our Community Partners for the fulfillment and enrichment of life goals for our Guardsmen, Hoosier Veterans and families, through personal education, career enhancement and quality of life achievements supporting family resilience and wellness.

NGAIF provides educational grants to qualifying Guardsmen and their dependents to assist with the pursuit of post high school education. In addition, the Foundation sponsors fellowships for professional development opportunities for both Army and Air members of the National Guard Association of Indiana.

NGAIF serves to help memorialize the service and sacrifice of Indiana National Guard members who have given their “last full measure of devotion” to our State and Nation via the development of memorials and monuments to commemorate their sacrifice.
